Thanks to our newest franchisees, Jossalyn Wallace and Daniel Mobili, Central Bark is expanding across the Florida Panhandle. The power couple signed a franchise development agreement to bring our first location to Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. When we first asked them, “why Central Bark?” – their answer was something that resonates with all of us.
Central Bark Florida – What They’re Saying
“For the first time, we realized there was a business out there where we could combine our passion for dogs and our dreams of small business ownership,” said Jossalyn. “That was something we just could not turn down.”
Once open, Jossalyn will run day-to-day operations while Daniel finishes his active-duty service in the U.S. Air Force. Daniel has served two tours in Afghanistan and is currently stationed at Hurlburt Field on Florida’s northwest coast.
Central Bark is Expanding Across the Florida Panhandle
According to the couple, Ft. Walton and the Florida Panhandle in general make a great market for Central Bark. The area is a dog friendly community and also completely aligned with our mission statement: to forever nurture, enrich, and inspire whole health, happiness, and unconditional love for each dog, family, and community we serve.
Non-Breed Discrimination is in our DNA
Joining them on their entrepreneurial journey into small business ownership will be their three dogs: Peanut (a kennel mix), Minnie (a pit bull), and Macey (an Australian shepherd). Another aspect of Central Bark that attracted Jossalyn and Daniel is that Central Bark, since our inception, has been committed to a just and inclusive world where no one discriminates based on race, religion, origin, sexual orientation, gender, or breed. That’s just the way we’re wired and something we will never change. And that includes pit bulls like Minnie.
