Central Bark Franchise Opportunity

Central Bark Appoints Tim Weiderhoft as Vice President of Franchise Development

Tim Weiderhoft

We’re proud to announce that Tim Weiderhoft Ed.D., CFE has been appointed as our new Vice President of Franchise Development. This announcement couldn’t come at a more perfect time because Central Bark is a brand on the move. In fact, we’re experiencing record setting growth once again with continuous double digit revenue gains and we’ve signed multiple new franchise development agreements while also opening new locations in brand new cities.

A little bit about Tim. He comes to us from his role as CEO of Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade Franchising (Wow Wow), a premiere gourmet lemonade franchise, where he oversaw a brand with nearly 20 locations spread across the U.S. and two overseas. Under his leadership, he helped more than quadruple the brand’s footprint and sold nearly 30 units over the last few years. He was even able to help Wow Wow achieve rankings among Fast Casual’s “10 Fast Casuals to Watch in the Post-Covid Era” and a spot in QSR’s “The 40/40 List: America’s Hottest Startup Fast Casuals.” Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Franchise Development and Regional Vice President of Operations for Massage Envy where he helped the lifestyle brand expand to nearly 1,200 locations. Earlier in his career, Tim was a Director of Field Operations for Massage Envy and a District Manager for FedEx Office where he held full profit and loss responsibility for 20 locations and was ranked among the top five in the nation for overall sales growth.

As Central Bark CEO Bob Crawford stated, “Tim’s proven track record of building relationships that drive performance will position Central Bark to capitalize on our momentum. Central Bark is coming off another year of double-digit sales growth, multiple new territory expansions, and increasing demand for dog care in the $123+ billion pet care space. Tim is the perfect fit because we are poised for some explosive growth ahead. Under Tim’s leadership, we anticipate continuing our strong track record of franchise development, system-wide revenue growth, innovation and industry-leading expertise while also improving our already attractive unit level economics.”

The other thing you should know about Tim is that he is a dog person through and through. When he first stepped into a Central Bark, he knew there was something fundamentally different about our brand and our approach to whole dog care backed by the latest in canine behavioral science. Ask him and he will tell you, “I knew right away that this is where I wanted to be. There is just something special about Central Bark’s mission to forever nurture, enrich, and inspire whole health, happiness, and unconditional love for each dog, family, and communities we serve.”
